
Inan Temelkuran
Inan Temelkuran is an acclaimed Turkish film director and screenwriter known for his impactful documentaries and feature films.
Temelkuran studied Law at Ankara University, graduating in 1998. He was awarded a scholarship by the Spanish government to research the Franco era, after which he earned a degree from the TAI Visual Arts School in Film Directing in 2003.
"SoÄŸuk Bir Gecede, Madrid’de" (short documentary, 2005): Explores a Turkish wedding in Spain; won Best Documentary at the Madrid Young Art Competition.
"Made in Europe" (2007): His debut feature-length documentary; recipient of the Hope-Giving New Director Award at the 2008 Ankara Film Festival, along with honors from Adana's Golden Cocoon Film Festival.
"Bornova Bornova" (2009): A narrative feature he wrote, directed, and produced; awarded Best Film at the 46th Antalya “Golden Orange” International Film Festival, sharing the award with Reha Erdem’s Kosmos.
"Siirt’in Sırrı" (2012): Co-directed with Kristen Stevens, this documentary follows national wrestler Evin Demirhan’s journey and received both the Special Jury Prize at Adana's Golden Cocoon Film Festival and Best Film at Antalya Golden Orange’s National Documentary Competition.
"Takım: Mahalle Aşkına" (2015): A feature film co-written with İnan Temelkuran that blends social themes with a compelling sports narrative.
